DROP-BY DRAWING
This video was filmed at the National Gallery of Victoria in March 2020, as a still life drawing activity people could from their homes during the lockdown.
The ‘still life’ has always been a formative part of my practise, replicating the seemingly mundane, and so for this workshop I chose to respond to Édouard Manet's 1880 painting ‘The Melon’, a painting I feel is the ultimate celebration of the mundane.
